UNFILTERED
A surprising number of businesses have spent years building a brand that never actually says anything.
It has a logo.
A color palette.
A polished website.
Professionally written copy.
Everything looks the way it's supposed to.
But after five minutes, you still couldn't tell someone what the business stands for. Or why you'd choose it over the one down the street. Somewhere along the way, "professional" became "forgettable."
Every sentence was softened.
Every opinion was rounded off.
Every edge was sanded down in case someone didn't like it.
God forbid someone has a reaction.
Or worse...
An opinion.
So, the brand became bland as shit. And now it says exactly what every other "bland as shit" brand is saying.
The result isn't a brand that's approachable.
It's a brand that's interchangeable.
And interchangeable brands spend a lot of money trying to convince people they're different.
If your brand could belong to almost anyone, eventually it will.
